L1/L2 hardware Trigger Simulation at CDF

  The CDF experiment at Fermilab has a three level trigger system, two of which (L1/L2) are hardware trigger systems. In this paper the software simulation/emulation packages for L1/L2 are described, in particular their implementation in the CDF RUN II offline software framework and their use as the engine for the online consumer monitor and some benchmarks studies using data from the cosmic ray test run of November 1999 are presented.
