Building a Regional Centre |

The current planning assumption is that LHC data analysis will be performed on a widely distributed computing environment of "Regional Centres", organised as a series of "tiers" with different capacities and data handling capabilities. The talk will suggest how a regional centre could be constructed using the commodity component approach, and will make some general comments on staffing and costs
