  Samba is considered a successful Open Source project and has been worked on for over 5 years. How did this happen ? What are the lessons the Samba Team has learned about managing the Samba code base, and the increasing commercial interest it has generated. In this talk I will cover some of the lessons we have learned in the course of developing Samba and how to apply these to any Open Source project.
